Miss Lisa fell in love with dance at the age of 4 when she began dancing at All That Jazz w. Monica in Warren, Ohio. At 5 she joined the competition team and competed nationally until she graduated high school. During this time she studied in jazz. tap, ballet, lyrical and contemporary dance with All That Jazz and also under Linda Diamond while attending various competitions and conventions winning both state and national titles through dance. It was also during this time she began her love for teaching as an assistant within the studio. After high school, Lisa attended Walsh Univeirsity in Canton, Ohio. She founded the Walsh University Dance Team in 2001 and lead and coached the team until 2004 when she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in both English and Communications and a minor in Writing.
Upon graduation, she began teaching hip-hop, jazz, tap, ballet and lyrical to all ages at The Dance Company for the Performing Arts in Pittsburgh, PA. Here she mentored under Pat McKeown and jump-started their competition dance program. She taught there until 2007 when she founded her own studio, Momentum Dance which has found its home in her hometown of Lordstown, Ohio.
This studio exists only because of my family. Their support from initial dream through each and every day that followed allowed me to create a place that makes me so excited to go to work each day. I am truly thankful.
Our state-of-the-art studio is equipped with the latest technology and amenities, including a sprung dance floor, mirrors, and sound system. We provide a safe and supportive environment where students can learn and grow as dancers.

I began assistant teaching Momentum studio classes in high school and teaching a few years ago, sharing my passion for dance with students of all ages. While teaching dance, I am also pursuing a degree in early childhood education and plan to earn a Master's in children's psychology to become a better educator.
Teaching dance brings me joy as I inspire and witness my students' growth. At Momentum, we create a supportive, family-like environment where dancers build confidence and share our passion and love for dance.
